Winter Warmer - Lemon, Ginger and Turmeric Tea

Lemon, ginger and turmeric are the perfect warming drink for winter. This tea is so easy to make and so full of goodness its crazy! Each element has a whole range of medicinal properties but for the purposes of this article I will only mention those that explain why it's the perfect winter tea. Ginger According to the Ayurvedic Encyclopedia Ginger is 'a wonder drug' and has so many healing proprieties that it is known as 'vishwabhesaj' the universal medicine. It is great to sip on during winter as it is great for sore throats, coughs, colds and flus. Add a bit of honeyand it reduces Kapha too! Lemon Lemon is used in Ayurveda for colds and flu, bronchitis, sore throats and inflammation. And
